About this tool
Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, begins when the new crescent moon is seen, so its first day moves about 11 days earlier every year. Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin on Monday 8 February 2027 by the Umm al-Qura calendar, with Eid al-Fitr on about Tuesday 9 March 2027 and Eid al-Adha on about Sunday 16 May 2027.
